MAPS - Congratulations - Young Leaders

Pride of MAPS..

Tarun Luthra (batch 2017-18) won a ₹50000 scholarship at Campus India General Aptitude Scholarship test held on 29th April, 2018. Only 9 students won the scholarship out of 1000+ participants. Congratulations Tarun...Our best wishes for future too!!!

MAPS - National Science Day

National Science Day was celebrated at National Science Centre, Delhi on 28th February 2018 to mark the discovery of Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir CV Raman.  Students of Maharaja Agrasain Public School, Ashok Vihar participated in activities like sit and draw contest and an innovative challenge(Roller coaster making) and brought laurels to the school under the guidance of teacher mentor, Ms. Parul Chauhan. Akshat Goel(IX-F), Yash Singhal(IX-C) and Raj Mishra(IX-F) who participated in the Roller Coaster Making Challenge secured the third position.  Riya Goyal(XI-A) and Preksha Jain(IX-A) secured the first position and Arshee Saba(XI-A) got consolation prize in Sit and Draw Contest.

MAPS - ANOTHER ACCOLADE FOR THE WORTHY SCHOOL AND THE WORTHY PARTICIPANT

ANOTHER ACCOLADE FOR THE WORTHY SCHOOL AND THE WORTHY PARTICIPANT MC Sharen Ganesh of class XI B (Science Stream) is ranked among the top 10% participants in the TIMES SPARK SCHORLASHIP EXAM from THE TIMES GROUP held in the academic year 2017-18. He has also been honoured with a PLATINUM CERTIFICATE OF MERIT for his achievement.  Congratulations to MC Sharen Ganesh for being a spark of intelligence for others to follow

MAPS - Mitsubishi Asian Enikki Festa

Mitsubishi Asian Enikki Festa is a competition where a child can show his /her talent by drawing   such pages with their whole hardwork. Many students  participated in this competition and were      asked to draw five pages describing a whole day of an Indian. The students  submitted their work in    files and all files  were given ahead. After a month, in the month of January the results were declared and many students cleared the level of this competition.In February, the students were given the certificate of participation and also momento, camlin oil pastels and pencil colours as prize of first level.

MAPS - Yet We Made It Again!!!!

It was a dream come true for Akshat Gupta, Khushi Jain, Vrinda  Maheswari, Aditi Chauhan & Rishabh Jain to represent not only our school  but Delhi state also at 25th National Children Science  Congress (27th -31st Dec) held at Science City, Ahmedabad,  Gujarat under the able guidance of Ms.Ruchi Sharma . The event was organized by Deptt. of Science, Govt. of  India. The well appreciated project was presented by our group  leader Akshat Gupta; our budding gems received laurels by Hon’ble Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. It is worthy to mention that there were 662 projects in total not only from  India but also from other Asian countries like Laos, Malaysia,  Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Qatar, Philippines, Myanmar,  Kuwait and Bahrain.

MAPS - CBSE REGIONAL AWARD IN MATHS

ANOTHER MILESTONE REACHED BY THE STUDENTS OF MAPS . Muskan and Nandini Pathak of class X won the CBSE Regional Level Competition wherein they presented their Maths Model under the theme ‘ Innovations for Sustainable Development’ . They have now entered the national level of the same. Congratulations to both and the guide teacher Ms. Divya Jain .

MAPS - received School Excellence Award

A new feather in the cap "MAPS " received School Excellence Award by Brain feed, for Best Innovative Practices and Implementing PBL methods.The Award was received  by Ms. POOJA GAUR (NURSERY Coordinator) on 9th Dec 2017 at Le Meridien, New Delhi. Congratulations !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MAPS - Standing tall with accolades..(NCSC 2017-18)

MAPS proclaimed with sheer joy and pride that 5 students from our school Akshat Gupta,Khushi Jain,Aditi Chauhan,Vrinda Maheshwari and Rishabh Jain under the able guidance of Ms. Ruchi Sharma proved their mettle and are selected for National Children Science Congress 2017-18 National Level. They created a niche for themselves by being selected amongst best 8 teams out of total 40 teams.Our stars will represent Delhi along with other 7 teams at National level going to be held in Gujarat.Their determination and hardwork bore fruits as they cleared zonal,district and finally state level today. We wish them good luck and success for their next level. MAPS fraternity proud to announce that on 27th October 2017 5 students of our school (Akshat Gupta, Khushi Jain, Aditi Chauhan, Rishabh Jain and Vrinda Maheswari) along with their guide teacher (Mrs. Ruchi Sharma) participated at the district level of NCSC 2017-18. MAPS - German Video Clip Competition

An amazing video clip competition with lyrics “German Reggae grooves south Asia” was organized by Max Mueller Bhavan , where in our students have done an outstanding job by preparing a video clip on the lyrics of the song “Ohne Kompass” of  Germany’s very famous Raggabund. In this video Students have created moving images and displayed words in German. Our School team got a chance to attend a fully sponsored German youth camp in Sri Lanka along with the winners of Karachi , Lahore and Colombo.Moreover, it ranked in the top ten teams of North India. The scholarship awarded to the winners includes the following:   To and fro tickets of the camp. German classes and workshops. Sports, cultural and leisure program. #MAPS - Seminar- Sustainable Solution Of Problem Around Us at National Science Centre

Our students got the much awaited opportunity to represent themselves at the seminar organised at National Science Center , Pragati Maidan on the topic "Sustainable Solution Of Problem Around Us". Nandini Garg from X-A got the second position in it. Thanks to the perfect guide teacher" Mrs. Ruchi Sharma "who put her best foot forward and guided children to perform at their best. 

#MAPS - Hardwork ,Winning Spirit and Dedication are always Rewarded

It was a moment of elation and pride when yet another award was added to the crowning glory of our school. Mr. Neeraj Sharma (TGT - music) of our school was bestowed with the outstanding Teacher’s Award by Sh. Vijay Goel, Minister of State Parliamentary  Affairs, Govt. of India on behalf of Action Committee Unaided Recognized Private School. Out of 2000 Schools from Delhi and NCR, 78 Teachers were awarded in a ceremony held at Bal Bharti Public School ,Rajinder Nagar. The guest of honour Dr. Dhananjay Shah , Principal of Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education. 

MAPS - NURTURRING YOUNG SEEDS

“If your actions inspire others to dream more, do more and become more, you are a leader” We are gratified to announce that Sayyam Gibrani, Parul Arora and Vatsal Mangla excelled in the semi-finals and finals of Nurturing Young Seeds. A national level program where students prepared themselves in the field of not only journalism but it also gave a lifetime opportunity to these Young Seeds to imbibe of leadership qualities which will help them grow and lead throughout their life. We are immensely honoured to announce that Sayyam Gibrani of class 11th has won the NYS competition bagging 1st prize and received a cash price of Rs51000/-  and the other two students Vatsal Mangala and Parul Arora were conferred with the titles leader of  Community and Communication respectively along with one month internship at NYS office in Film City Noida. # MAPS Teachers' Choice Award

The Scheme of Teachers' Choice  Award to Teachers was started in the year" 2012-13"   with the object  of giving recognition to the meritorious services of outstanding teachers working in the  School. The Teacher’s Choice Award is unique among educational honors and is judged exclusively by panels of teachers. The recognition is identified to be a strong incentive for teachers to improve and continue to teach well.  This time Mr. Sanjay Seth (Science Department  middle wing )was honored with the award . He is known for his qualities , to inculcate a sense of curiosity in the students and ensure that the quiet geniuses of the class have their hour in the spotlight.

MAPS शब्द शिल्पी सम्मान

17/9/17को हिंदी भवन में पर्पल पैन साहित्यिक समूह ने अपना दूसरा वार्षिक समारोह आयोजित किया।कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता उस्ताद शायर सर्वश्री राजेंद्र नाथ रहबर जी ने की।विशिष्ट अतिथि थे श्रेष्ठ कवि श्री लक्ष्मी शंकर वाजपेयी जी और महान शायर मलिक जादा जावेद साहब। कार्यक्रम की संयोजिका सुश्री वसुधा कनुप्रिया थी।लगभग 60कवियों ने काव्य पाठ किया। निशि शर्मा जिग्यासु( हिंदी अध्यापिका, महाराजा अग्रसेन पब्लिक स्कूल )ने वर्तमान समय की विडंबनाओं पर एक गीत प्रस्तुत किया व शब्द शिल्पी सम्मान प्राप्त किया।
