Ms. UMA SHARMA  Conducted an enriching and interesting training webinar under  ‘Quality Education Asia’ on 'Online Teaching of Hindi' on July 25, 2020 where many school teachers from all over  India and from other countries like Singapore attended the webinar and benefitted by her  knowledge and expertise of the subject. congratulation

 

Award Appreciates  Exemplary Services  It Is a matter of immense honour and pride for Agarsainians that our Principal Ms. Alka Sahani  has been conferred with LEADERSHIP AWARD IN EDUCATION 2021 by GULSHAN KUMAR FILM AND TELEVISION INSTITUTE OF INDIA AND T SERIES STAGEWORKS ACADEMY for expediting the digital transformation during the pandemic. Her brilliant vision, relentless efforts and skillful guidance is remarkable. The outstanding contribution exhibited by her towards the upliftment of school education is also commendable.  

 ROTARY CLUB OF NEW DELHI recognizes a consistent record of outstanding teaching and related activities on Teacher's day .I am deeply honored by my superiors for the recognition of my work. It is hard to put this feeling into words. Nevertheless, I am very glad to receive such a momentous award. It is a huge honor for me to receive the SARASWATI SAMMAN, THE NATION BUILDER DISTINGUISHED TEACHER AWARD 2021. It is not just me, but I believe for everybody that you work hard, hard work works. My seniors were a great pillar behind my success. For my skill development, they played a significant part, their training and knowledge in different stages of my life were hugely influential for my success. I am indebted to my most significant supporters, my parents, family  and friends.

A teacher is the guiding force for students and a true nation-builder. With sheer perseverance and patience, a teacher helps students comprehend the rich legacy of the country's culture.Ms. Deeksha Thakur is one such example from the Cambridge Wing of Maharaja Agarsain Public School, a Cambridge International School.She was conferred upon one of the most prestigious awards, 'Saraswati Samman' THE NATION BUILDER DISTINGUISHED AWARD, organised by the Rotary India Literacy Mission, on 10th September, 2020.She has always worked towards making her students responsible citizens of the country and has been consistent with her innovative teaching-learning practices. Award by Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti Reaching The Unreached  MAPS promotes and works to restore life- teachings , values and principles of  Mahatma Gandhi and is meaningfully associated with the Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti in true essence and spirit. The school Principal, Ms.Alka Sahani was conferred with an award for the contributions and her unwavering efforts. However, Ms.Bhavana Bansal ( Sr.Wing Coordinator) received the award on her behalf at the Samaroh organized by the Samiti. Congratulations and many more!!!!!

  We feel honoured in your honour.. Ms Sadhna Kathal has been felicitated with the prestigious award in the field of education –Savitri bai Phule Samman2021, Certificate of Honour’ on 4th Sept,2021..This honour has been presented by the Indraprastha School Sahodaya  and Delhi Sahodaya Schools Complex. Prof. Rakesh Sinha, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha was the Chief Guest.Shri Jaiprakash Chaturvedi (CBSE-Regional Officer Delhi West) and Shri Manish Aggarwal, CBSE Head, Centre of Excellence Delhi West graced the occasion.

 At MAPS not only students learning is a priority but also the training and development of teachers are equally important. Keeping this aspect in view, Shilpa Goel was given an opportunity to learn and enhance her professional skills with the Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning (CICTL). She excelled with flying colours by getting distinction in all four subjects under the mentorship of Ms. Rupam Shah . CICTL is an innovative, reflective, and globally acknowledged professional development course  recognized from Cambridge University UK.

 

 A wonderful Agarsanian, Deepansh Goel of class XI-B has accomplished his year-long journey in CBSE and Intel's AI for Youth Program, where he was amongst the 25 students selected from India for the Apprenticeship Program to develop his programming skills and given chance to make a social impact AI solution project with the students of Singapore National University, and interacted with CEO’s of many international tech companies and personalities all over the world He was selected through a year-long event, shortlisted through every program to get selected for the international program out of all over India. In this 1-week program, he interacted with CBSE Chairman [Sh.   MAPS Nursery wing bagged the award for its best "Innovative and Creative Teaching practices out of all the entries received in the category of "Innovative and Creative Teaching Initiative in Preschool". The award was conferred by the Programme Committee of International chamber for service Industry on 7th November, 2020.

  Congratulations!!! The school Principal Ms. Punam Gupta is conferred with the Savitribai Phule Samman 2020 Educational Leadership Award by the I ndraprastha Schools and Delhi Sahodaya Schools Complex. The award is a recognition of her contribution as a leader who is creating a new and lasting template in the field of education

Congratulations!!!  Ms. Keshav Kirpal Kaur TGT (Social Science) was felicitated with the Most Inspiring Teacher Award as part of Savitribai Phule Samman 2020 for her excellent and exemplary work in education. 

WORLD SCHOLAR’S CUP 2020 (22nd and 23rd January 2020) Competitions and events like WSC have always been a platform for the students to develop basic soft skills and pushes them to realise their intellectual extremities. Participation in such events not only brings laurels to the institution but also gives the participants a chance to develop their life and career related skills.   This year, 13 Agarsainians participated which helped them to hone their communication skills, decision making abilities, spontaneity, judgement skills and reasoning capabilities. The proud orators returned valiant with a number of Gold and Silver medals and trophies. HIGHLIGHTS: Total Gold Medals won: 18 Total Silver Medals won: 20 3 teams were selected for Global Round  May, MAPS continue to move further to touch the zenith of success !!!!  

Stupendous quizzers Rishabh and Somya of X-A won 'Know Your Constitution Quiz' conducted by Doordarshan and Gandhi Smriti. Competing with 43 schools across Delhi-NCR, MAPS’ superstars defeated all with a healthy margin to prove their mettle and became the recipient of a cash prize of Rs. 50,000, along with a set of interesting books.  The quiz will be telecast on Doordarshan soon. MAPS' Indigenous Scientists' Innovation- 'LIFESAVER' Our budding Einsteins, Bhavay Garg and Shubham Gupta, bagged First Position at City Level Science Fair for their innovation 'LIFESAVER' organized by the National Science Centre. Another glory added in MAPS' book of achievements. Congratulations!!   

MAPS rocks again! It's a proud moment for MAPS to announce that our School Band has scored First Position at Delhi State Inter School Band Competition organized by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development. It's not the first time that it has brought laurels to our school, rather it has already been a matter of pride for us.   

One more feather in the golden cap of MAPS Nursery wing.  Aaryan Yadav of Mont 1 won II position in Avengers – The Patrons of Mother Earth in Razzmatazz 2019 on 29 November 2019. The event was organised in Mother Divine Public School, Rohini. He set the stage on fire with hispowerful performance as represented Thor - The Avengers. 

"Winners are not people who never fail, but people who never quit". One more proud moment for Agrasain family, MAPS has once again gained recognition by winning the International School award (ISA) 2019-2022. This is a prestigious award instituted by the British Council with the objective of recognising and celebrating exemplary practices of internationalism in schools.  

“Success not only satisfies one but it also encourages others” Over the years MAPS has produced a number of excellent students in academics who, in the future take the reputation of the school to new heights. And what’s the better way to appreciate and congratulate them than awarding them with mementoes and certificates of appreciation! Keeping this in mind the school celebrated its Annual Prize Distribution - The Ceremony of Honours’ with great exuberance on May 1, 2019 to reward the hard work and encouraging the students to perform better. A total of 30-35 students were felicitated in the ceremony. The ceremony was full of appreciation and ended with best wishes and words of wisdom by Principal Ma'am. She advised the students to listen to their hearts and dream big to make a positive change not only in their lives but also in the society they are living in. With an endeavour to promote astronomy as a career among children, STEM & SPACE had conducted a NATIONAL ASTRONOMY CHALLENGE with students of all over India participating in it. Dhanad Jha of class IX of Maharaja Agarsain Public School was one of the 10 proud winners of this challenge. STEM & Space recently held the National Astronomy Challenge felicitation in Dubai on 25th March. Dhanad Jha with his mentor, Ms Parul Chauhan were felicitated at the award ceremony. The Olympiad was quite challenging, and these student winners proved their dedication and excellence in these subjects.  Mr. Hasan Hariri(CEO Al Thuraya observatory) was the Chief guest of the event. He shared his passion about Astronomy and encouraged the students to visit the Al Thuraya observatory where they got an experience of an observatory. Take the path less traveled to set new trends.. We, at MAPS, believe in setting trends for others to follow. Adding another feather to the cap, Yushmita Lohia of XII C won bronze medal in Under 19 Super 7 Cricket Tournament and qualified for National level. The measure of achievement is not winning awards. It’s doing something you appreciate, something you believe is worthwhile.’ At MAPS, we believe in imparting education that would lead to holistic development of our students and impact lives. This quest has resulted in the school winning coveted awards and laurels aplenty. Added to the long list is the Guru Drona Award conferred on our revered Principal Ms. Punam Gupta by SRM University in association with Action Committee of Unaided Recognised Private Schools, India. The award was received by Ms. Kavita Gupta, Senior Coordinator, on behalf of the school Principal. Congratulations!!!

Maharaja Agarsain Public School is yet again celebrating its felicitation of another award in School Excellence by Brain feed-Top 100 Preschools of India 2018-19 on 16th December 2018. MAPS was unanimously selected as the best in transforming education and young minds through a noteworthy spectrum of initiative and efforts.
